• Our Story

In late 2016, Heroly was conceptualized when our founder, Audrey Kiefer, decided that dog owners such as herself needed a better solution for when life gets chaotic. As she hustled through her career in private aviation, her German Shepherd, Vader, was at the center of it all and suffering (not to mention her floors as well) due to her ambitious and unpredictable schedule. This sent her and her savings on a mission:

To make last-minute dog care easier, safer, and cheaper.

As a daily scheduled walker was unnecessary and expensive and allowing a stranger in her home was absurd, she drew inspiration from her neighborhood network of dog owners. She considered her neighbors that came to Vader’s rescue her “Heroes”. Thus born, Heroly.

    About Heroly

Heroly is a team of intense canine lovers and advisors who are all inspired by the same mission. To help dogs and owners alike. We believe in integrity, community, and charity. The logo is a red paw with the bottom shaped as a cape. We chose the red as a reminder to be bold, fiery, and fierce. We choose to be seen and welcome animosity. The cape represents our commitment to be fearless in our endeavors and brave with our words.

Heroly believes in the power of integrity, community, and charity. We encourage each user to cultivate their own trusted circle of neighbors and peers to become “Heroes” for one another. When last minute professional or social obligations keep you from home, a simple tap on “Request Hero” will send a notification to their pre-approved list of Heroes. If a Hero accepts, a peer-to-peer payment is initiated and Heroly takes a small fee in which 20% is donated to the Shelter/Rescues each month.

    Jonas Black

Mid 2017, Heroly was fortunate to welcome Jonas Black, a successful and well-known Texas Canine Behavior Modification Specialist to the team. His balanced approach to dog training and rehabilitation was aligned with the brand’s commitment to a no-bullshit and honest relationship with our team and customers. His partnership expanded the brands overall mission to Create Heroes for Canines by educating dog owners about canine behavior and saving dogs. Jonas has personally pulled countless dogs off euthanasia tables and rehabilitated them with a 100% success rate.

Jonas releases a weekly podcast called Heroly’s Canine Club, which addresses topics ranging from behavior modification, training, news, and breed characteristics.

    Apparel

To further demonstrate our love for canines and sass, we released a line of snarky apparel which also benefits our monthly featured Shelter/Rescue. All shirts are American Apparel and comfortable as hell. Don your cape and sassy swag and join us.
